Whether you need a spacious cargo van or a comfortable passenger van, there is a model for you in the lineup of new Ford Transit Connect models. There are a total of five trim levels in the Transit Connect lineup. Additionally, there is an extended wheelbase version of the Ford Transit Connect that is available for customers.
Power and Performance
The Ford Transit Connect can be equipped with one of two engine platforms. A 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine are both available for the new Transit Connect. A front-wheel drive drivetrain is standard across the Ford Transit Connect lineup.
Saving Fuel
The Ford Transit Connect uses several great methods to conserve fuel for drivers. Auto start-stop technology is available for many models in the Transit Connect's lineup, automatically shutting the engine of the van off while it is stopped.
